This place is very welcoming! We felt at home. Pastor Geoff is awesome him and my husband hit it off he's down to earth. We attended first service on Sunday morning 7:30 then we tried Saturday night 6 both were very good. Come as you are and have Happy Hour with Jesus! I found a church home! This church is welcoming and has mid week activities plus women’s retreats and Bible studies in the fall. I’m beyond happy. There are people my age ( 87) people I knew from Calvary chapel Costa Mesa ; , women’s Friday morning study (50 years ago) we are blessed. the Holy Spirit is here.! Gods presence is obvious. . This church is AWESOME I came to church here with a walker and was having a hard time being able to walk without feeling dizzy and often falling backwards. In this church I heard the truth about precious Jesus and through Christ lead preaching I believe I have been healed I no longer need a walker or a cane, or any mobility device. I truly believe if you really want to belong to a solid church that does not sugar coat what it says in the Word and you want to grow and learn how to live a Christ filled life this is the church for you.At this church they make you feel at home and welcome and like part of a bigger family. Thank you God for this church may you help continue to build it up in your ways Lord Amen. My father recently passed away from metastatic liver cancer (Stage 4). His cancer metastasized from his liver to his spinal cord & entire skeletal structure. I felt as though life lacked any meaningful purpose. Out of desperation, I cycled for a multitude of miles alongside the beach and could not develop any sense of peace, regardless of the extent of my energy expenditure. While returning home, I identified Refuge Calvary Chapel. The following day, I contacted Refuge Calvary Chapel and an individual answered the telephone. She was very calm, composed, compassionate, and understanding. She offered a prayer and I immediately accepted the prayer. To be sincere, she delivered an immeasurable amount of peace within me. There are no words that can define how her prayer reinvigorated my soul. I felt a strong sense of peace and identified that my father has transcended this short-lived (temporary) material world and has entered the Kingdom of God. Thank you for your prayer, may God bless you with many years. We need more people like you. God bless us ALL 🙏 everywhere, anywhere Amen..... Went to Sundays service before; it was and usually is: very calming, freeing and I love everyday tho how God has always shown up for me. HIS daughter His child. So in turn I love you continue to go on and live my lifetime here,H. B. Ca. faithful to our God-Father thank You again Almighty-Savior 🙏 ❤️ love you my Lord. Oh yeah and Also food bank here at church ⛪️ on Mondays, Tuesdays afternoon's is absolutely 💯 👌 yummy 😋 and wonderful! Amen 🙏
