What visitors say
I started going here 2 years ago. Was a wandering Jew (raised Jewish - doing mostly Buddhist events) when I found "East Bay." Rev. Eloise Oliver and the wonderful music make my heart sing. I've now made lots of new friends there and have deepened my appreciation of Oakland, CA (best kept secret in Bay Area). I can't recommend it more highly! The most Loving Community Church I've attended! Best place to get to know who God is within you and who you are to God! They have classes as well as Sunday service. They have food give away on Wednesdays and they bless the homeless with Blessing Bags! Nothing but LOVE! ❤️👍 I have never been to any cult there however I go to Eastbay Toastmaster Club that holds meeting at 7pm every Monday (public speaking club). The rooms are perfect with kitchens. The lady at the office that I met once is very kind. Now that I said that, I might come one time to join the cult, by curiosity 😉 Warm and welcoming. The pastor is a wise and wonderful person. Thanks for hosting the event. ( Marianne Williamson spoke here as a source of love for the lives of children. Of course. ) Blessings on them their Church and their flock. Wow, what can I say about a church of which I have been a member since 2001? I have found my Spiritual home, my diverse, supportive, and loving community, and a thriving safe and active church home. I wouldn't worship anywhere else, except in nature and my backyard!💯
