What visitors say
New pastor and new energy at this humble church near Lake Merritt. Good worship music, inspiring WORD, the presence of the Holy Spirit. Lord bless this gathering. I have been a few times there when visiting just a great community and church to go to.. Pastor Albert is an amazing guy as well. Church open to all people from all walks of life. Very welcoming folks. Recommend for sure This is a wonderful and diverse church. If you are looking a new church home, I know you will feel comfortable here. My wife and I feel so loved and so accepted at Regeneration. I encourage you to visit this young and youthful church! I've been attending for about a year and found Regen to be a creative, socially conscious, nuanced faith community where mainly expository preaching challenges listeners to think critically about the word of God, the life of Christ, and the implications for Christians in the community around us. Many members are active in joining/founding organizations with a focus on social justice, which is a stark contrast from the all-too common excessively traditional, insular, ritualistic-type church. This church has an amazing ministry! Their heart for the homeless is so beautiful. They are some of the most hospitable people I’ve ever met!
