What visitors say
I love everything about this church! I've attended for several years and got married here. The people are so welcoming and I love Fr. Gilbert! This is the first church that has felt like home in the LA area for me. The building is beautiful! Truly a shining light in Altadena after the fires. Beautiful Church from the outside, didn’t get a chance to go inside to pray this visit. Paster Gilbert Guzman is so inspirational, and caters to both Spanish speaking and English speaking parishioners, easily transitioning from one language to the other during his homily. We all feel included by him. He is so animated and really brings God and Jesus into his examples of his experiences in life. Going to Sacred Heart Church feels like we have finally found our religious home. I think of Sacred Heart as my home church. Last time I checked, they had Masses in four different languages for the benefit of their diverse congregation. Fr. Gilbert Guzman is a lively and kind pastor. There's usually food for sale outside after Sunday Mass. I really like the tacos. Beautiful small church i grew up in , just wish the staff there was friendly and helpful like it used to be.
