What visitors say

We baptized my daughter in this church 10+ years ago and her quinceañera ceremony was also here about 3 years. Both ceremonies were amazing, personalized, and I really felt the faith within myself I am planning on baptizing my new baby there as well. I wouldn’t change a thing about any of them. At the end of the day, it’s about believing in God and being a good person while here on earth. Thank you Father Tom and thank you Old Nations Catholic Church! To those that think that the Sacrament of Baptism is not valid. A Sacrament of baptism only requires two things to be valid. 1. Water must be used and the water may be poured on the head or the person may be immersed. That is what baptism means 2. The person baptizing must use the Trinitarian formula. I baptize you in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Usually the person baptizing is a priest or deacon but it can also be a nurse in a hospital. The person baptizing doesn't even have to be Catholic as long as the water and Trinitarian formula are used . A valid baptism must be respected and the person should never be re baptized. A valid baptism has to be respected in every Catholic Church . If it isn't then complain to the diocese. Praise God fir churches like these. They are a haven for parishioners who were a step away from leaving the Catholic church. They are a safety net. Many have gone to protestant churches because they were ignored or did not feel welcomed in a Roman Catholic church. Love this church, it may be small but it’s about the message you get while attending. Thanks be to God. It was the most beautiful service. They made it so special and we are so blessed we found this church. We baptized our two sons at this church, great and awesome experience. My first son was baptized 7 years ago my second son 5 years ago and now we are returning for the 3rd time to baptize our youngest! We wouldn’t be going there or recommending family members if we did not have good experiences! Highly recommend for baptisms.
