We’ve been really happy with our experience here. The teachers and admin staff are so kind and caring, and you can tell they genuinely love working with the kids. Our kids looks forward to going every day, which says a lot. We’ve seen our kids grow so much socially and academically. The staff does a great job communicating with parents and making everyone feel part of the community. They have so many fun outdoor activities and an AMAZING playground. The school is so loved, and the waitlist is long. A good tip is to start with the Parent-Tot program (once a week) for 2-year-olds., since that helps get you on the priority list. Sign up for full-time if you can. The kids get great care and make the best memories with their friends and teachers there. Also, full-time kids get extra daycare on many days when school is closed for half-day students, including during the summer. I was surprised that the school does not have higher ratings until I realized that they are all quite outdated. I have nothing negative to say about Christ Lutheran Preschool. My first child attended this school, and I fell in love with the teaching style and the attentiveness of the staff. Their prices are also very reasonable given the quality of education they provide. They are a play-to-learn school, and I appreciate how their playground allows children to develop in a variety of ways. So excited to now have my other child be a part of this wonderful community. CLP has been a safe space for both of my children to learn, explore, and grow. Their curriculum was developmentally appropriate. From the Mom and Tot class to the Fours class, my children thrived under their play based philosophy of teaching. It is obvious the teachers are all passionate about their place as teachers. Each classroom has a unique culture full of opportunity to develop socially, emotionally, and academically. Both children left prepared for elementary school. The ongoing efforts to change and improve the school are evidence of their commitment to their families. We absolutely love this school and staff! My son loves going to school here! We loved his previous preschool but needed to send him somewhere closer to home in order to better manage morning drop off for his older siblings. We are so happy with the move and our son is happier than ever at school! This is such a lovely and enriching environment for kids. His teachers really care about getting to know him and encouraging a healthy social and academic development through play and exploration. This is the best preschool in Santa Clarita. The back play area is 10/10 you won’t find a bigger or more engaging space for your little. I have been going to this school for 8 years with all three of my kids. They have always loved school and alive always felt so comfortable in the environment and with the caring teachers! I really was turned off in my preschool search by stuffy rooms with diaper changes where they play—- CLP is a hidden gem! You won’t regret getting your kiddo into this awesome program
