What visitors say
Wow. Church reviews, what a concept.... My partner and I have been members here for decades. It was the obvious love of music on display during services that initially attracted us, but now we're grateful to have found such a warm and caring Faith Community. Drop in at 9:00 or 10:30 Sunday morning and see for yourself...we've been praying for you. I love this church! All are welcome here. It’s a warm and welcoming community of faith. The choir and music ministries are fantastic and help to lead worship in amazing ways. There are many opportunities to serve our community too. When we moved from NJ 5 years ago, we visited many churches in town. When we first arrived to VUMC, we immediate felt welcomed and accepted. The programs for the kids and youth are great! My teen actually asks to go to youth group and a teen being enthusiastic about anything is saying a lot. 😉 It is important to me that this is one of the few LGBTQIA+ affirming churches in town. I feel the members truly live out the motto “All are welcome and all means all.” Pastors Andy and Camille are very down to earth, open minded, and welcome questioning and discourse. My family found our church home here. ❤️ My family and I love attending Valencia United Methodist Church. We generally go to the 10:30 praise band service, but try to take my Mother In Law a few times a year to the 9:00 service to hear their amazing Choir. This Church has a great youth program, Kids Zone, Vacation Bible School, and many more activities. I've been attending Valencia United Methodist Church for many years, and for many reasons. It's a warm and welcoming church with relatable sermons and friendly people. And the music is amazing! The first service has a beautiful choir and the second service has a lively modern band. All very talented. Through a small group I joined (a blend of Bible study, book club and support group) I made new friends whom I cherish.
