What visitors say
Great fast growing church for all who are looking for a church home. They have good beliefs and transparent what they do and expect. They even have three worships on each Sunday. They have a diverse community with different age groups, backgrounds and ethnicity. Discovery class was a good place to know what their history is and what to expect. Rooted class is an opportunity to connect with new members and deepen the faith. I’m happy to recommend this church. Vacationing here, from Texas, I looked up churches in our area & came across Venice Church. I’m so glad God led us to visit this church! Everyone was so warm & friendly! There was a sense of joy radiating among the church goers! Pastor Mark preached a very interesting sermon that I got a lot out of & he referenced Bible scripture often. The Holy Spirit can truly be felt here. I also love the mission work they are doing in the Venice community! If we lived here, this is the church we would attend & serve in! We loved worshipping with y’all!! This church has been here since I’ve lived in Mar Vista for over 30 years. They have kindly allowed Steve with Petramale Pizza to have a pop-up of the world’s best pizza every FRIDAY. This is the best best best pizza! This is from me studying abroad in Italy and traveling around the world. There’s nothing like it! Please support your local community and try some of his pizza on Fridays. Love this church!! Very welcoming. You can be yourself, and Pastor Mark is so good. We always leave feeling good and learn something we can apply to our daily life and relationship w God and his people. Overall, it is one of the most peaceful, calming atmospheres. Generally, I don't want to even leave. This is the best church in california in my opinion
