While vacationing we were able to stop in for Sunday AM class and services. They are located about 10 minutes away from the airport. We were warmly greeted by the members of the congregation upon arriving, even though we had not been there before. The adult class led by one of the men of the church used scripture and had us keeping the Bible pages open as we studied. We were greeted by more of the congregation after class, before services. The services, led by the men of the congregation, consisted of prayers, a capella singing, the Lord's supper and a sermon. The sermon was surely spiritual 'food for thought' and presented very well by their visiting minister. After services we were greeted by more of the church family. It was a true joy to share the morning with them. If you're looking for an unpretentious, super friendly group of non-denominational Christians and a worship service drawn directly from the New Testament, you'll find it here. Bible study starts at 9:30AM every Sunday followed by a worship service from 10:30 - 11:30 and an evening service at 6PM to 7PM. No instruments, no outfits, no incense and no programs - just singing, praying, a sermon and communion. If that's what you're looking for, you'll be glad you came. Recently attended "Ladies Day". Program, fellowship and luncheon all OUTSTANDING. Lovely little church, hope to return at some later date. Left sweater in the auditorium, mailed to me, received Feb. 4, thank you. Easter evening service in 2008 I was water baptized and took communion after. The congregation members taught me how to pray to God in Jesus name. Nice place to hear the word of God.
