I love two of the priests there. Their talks are very interesting. The church is nice. I'll go soon. Very caring, committed community. Priest is serious but loving, seems highly educated and at least bilingual if not multi. Parking is tough as the entrance is not obvious for newcomers. Metered street parking available. Stairs to rear and sides, difficult for seniors and disabled. Not sure where to find handicapped entrance. Church very cold even with multiple layers, hat, gloves, down parka. Dress accordingly. Was warmer outside despite windy winter day. Not a comfortable church. So cold it was a distraction for worship. Bilingual mass was great but canned music and videos a huge bummer and distraction. The fact that they spent so much money on AV equipment when they could hire live musicians is sad. The abrupt, clueless way they cut songs in awkward places ruined the flow, focus and sense of reverent worship. Clearly this is a smart group if they have nice, modern equipment but they have to learn to use it in a more graceful way to support the Divine Liturgy. Music is the Handmaid of the Liturgy. It is not meant to distract. It should be live so as to adjust in an immediate and sensitive manner. Very ugly architecture, not an aesthetic or pleasing experience. There was literally nothing one could focus on for beauty, elevating one's thoughts or moving to a higher spiritual plane. Worship was brutal and hard work that day but the gratitude for the Mass and Sacraments overcame the sacrifices. The wonderful people who were so reverent, pious, friendly and quiet made up for this. The low gluten host is available but one must arrive 15 minutes early to alert the priest and sacristan and Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist. Great church very beautiful. You can feel the history. I love the church but they had no one to translate English so I didn't know a word of what the priest was saying but I was raised in catholic church so I knew what to do . Beautiful church!! Dress in layers, it is very very Cold 🥶. Street parking. Don't know if they have private parking.
