At our church, we believe that all individuals, including our LGBTQIA+ friends, are embraced by God’s love and are integral members of our spiritual family. Our affirming stance reflects our commitment to inclusivity, recognizing that everyone is created in the image of God and deserving of love and respect. We understand that our celebration of diversity and our support for the LGBTQIA+ community may raise questions for some. However, we firmly believe that love and acceptance are at the heart of Christ’s message. Celebrating our LGBTQIA+ friends is not about condoning sin; rather, it is about acknowledging the beautiful diversity of God’s creation and the inherent worth of every person. I actually enjoyed the service and church. Can not give 5 stars due to my feelings on the "pride" celebration. All sin is sin but the open celebration of sin is a mocking of Gods word in my opinion. Not judging in condemnation, just an opinion. Love is not a sin, but openly celebrating what we do in private that is sin, is a mockery. The most welcoming and inclusive church in the area. All who seek are welcome; "seek and ye shall find. " TUMC is a warm and welcoming environment! They have two services each Sunday, at 9am and at 10:30am. Everyone is so friendly and we love the "children's chats" with the Pastor. He relates to the kids so well and they love this time as well! We've been attending for three years and love it here at our "church home"! Debi & Ken Friendly and welcoming congregation!
