Great church and Pastor Daniel always preaches the truth. The people are kind and welcoming and it is a wonderful community. I’m so happy to have landed at this incredible church! Everyone is warm and welcoming. The way the biblical teachings are broken down to give context, clear explanation and definition is something I find so helpful. They offer awesome kids ministry as well. We recently became part of this church, and I just had to share our experience. My family is open to different approaches to connecting with God, and we’ve visited quite a few religious places over the years. After reading some great reviews, I finally decided to stop by — WOW! For the first time, Pastor Daniel kept me glued to my seat the entire hour!!! I’ve never seen a place so full, with a crowd so in sync it felt like our hearts were beating together. Then I found out there are three services — 8:30, 10:00, and 11:30 — and I couldn’t help but wonder: will the same spirit carry through to the next one? Yes! Absolutely 💯 It was so engaging and powerful, I HAD TO COME BACK the following week just to hear what was next — Apostle Paul was on the move, boldly preaching despite being imprisoned multiple times. Now my kids and I are looking forward to the next Sunday service. Another beautiful part I loved is that they offer baptisms at Torrance Beach. There’s something about being baptized in the ocean that I personally find so raw, real, and deeply spiritual. This year’s baptism is on July 13, 2025 at 3 PM, in case you’d like to participate. Speaking of kids — Johnny and Molly, the couple leading the kids’ ministry, are incredibly gifted and inspiring. Want your child to have a meaningful experience? When you see kids begging their parents to stay just a few more minutes, you know you’re in the right place. What an amazing, spirit-filled community. We feel so grateful to be part of it. Stay blessed! 🌺💓 Pastor Danielle and his wife Leah along with the Orrs and other leaders have been partnering with the Holy Spirit as the Word of God is placed in the center of the banquet table. A feast to enjoy and to be shared with friends. Bring the real you to the real Jesus is an invitation to bring the person you’re becoming or want to be as we discover together our gifts, how and where they can be used. The teachings are richly flavored and our pastoral staff are humble, genuine people who care for others. I felt welcomed from the moment I entered the church. Calvary Chapel Palos Verdes is a Bible teaching, Bible believing church where you get to learn verse by verse. It is a great church for anyone in any step in faith. The Gospel is taught weekly and love is shown through staff and church members. I am very thankful I found this church! It is also a great place for non-Christian friends to come and understand the love Jesus and hear the Good News!
