As a member of the unsheltered community I am mostly greeted by coughs and sometimes spit. This congregation are some of the most righteous and kind people in the country, all the while rich too. Majority of wealthy people don't look too kindly on homeless based off my experience in Orange county where I was born. The Methodist Church always makes me feel welcomed and loved. Thank you so much. A welcoming and loving place to worship with great music and children/youth ministries. Excellent Church that has a hot meal every Wednesday from 4-7 and they give out clothing. I was able to get a pair of women's shoes for a friend needing a pair and a pair of pants for another guy who is homeless in a wheelchair. Then we take the meal to a shut in Senior before it gets cold. It's a great resource for helping others less fortunate!💒 This church is outstanding. They go out of their way every week to serve a hot meal to those in need. They also warehouse food, sleeping bags, blankets, clothes and much more to help as well. They have managed to keep this going during this Covid-19 pandemic with changes like masks and social distancing. This church has been providing support through this pandemic, when others have gone. Thank you, the community appreciates you. Small, beautiful place of worship for community residents and visitors. Several community events are held each year, commencing with a cultural affair in September. Congregation is welcoming.
