How the presence of God in our Lives is the greatest gift of Life was the theme of our sermon by Scott Winters. I love this church: the members, clergy, musicians and visitors who make attending church so engaging and memorable. Seaside Community Church is a wonderful place to worship. It is geared towards families and the size of the congregation is small and welcoming. The sermon's by Pastor Ben are not the fire and brimstone type rather his sermons are engaging and the messages are timely. The church is highly active in the community with many outreach programs. Would highly recommend this church. I've been a member of Seaside Community for almost 30 years. The congregation really is a family, so supportive and welcoming to all. They participate in many outreach events both at the church and in the community. Pastor Ben is excellent! His unique perspectives offer great insight to help find direction and navigate life's hurdles. Highly recommend checking out a service... you will be glad you did! My family and I have been members at Seaside for over 20 years. What a great community to have a family grow up in! People are supportive and interested in our family's activities outside of church also. Since we moved to Torrance from other parts of the country, our families are dispersed. Having Seaside members treat us like family is very important, especially as our kids were growing up. If someone in the church, or outside of the church, has a need, Seaside tries to help. The Outreach program is outstanding and makes me feel that we are making a difference. It's casual and an easy place to feel part of! I have been a member of Seaside Community Church for over 43 Years. The members have helped me raise over $200,000 through my benefit piano jazz concerts. Their support has been invaluable. Seaside is an open and affirming church and all are welcomed. New comers are consistently greeted with a hug and a handshake. The church makes music part of the Sunday services and participation is welcomed.
