A True Blessing and a Welcoming Family! Joining this church community about a month ago has been such a wonderful blessing in my life. From day one, the pastor and his wife have been unbelievably kind and welcoming, and the entire congregation feels like a real, caring family. I was recently baptized here, and I cannot express how grateful I am to have found this home. I look forward to coming every single week, whether it's diving deeper into the Word during Friday night Bible study or worshipping together on Sunday morning. If you are looking for a place filled with love, warmth, and genuine faith, I can't recommend this church enough. I am so happy and deeply grateful to be a part of this community! 🥰🥰🥰 Lovely welcoming church with kind people, great sermons and their eyes fixated on God. I have been searching for a local church where I would feel comfortable and be able to have fellowship with a mixed congregation - there are people from all races, states and backgrounds which I love. I'm from the UK so for me, it was crucial I found a place that was multicultural and accepting. Nobody make comments about my accent and I wasnt questioned about what i was doing there etc etc. The leader Marcus and his wife are extremely personable and friendly, Marcus delivers sermons with ease and passion. His desire to know God is reflected through his teachings and it comes from a pure heart. He is even inspiring me in that he urges me to want to know the lord more not just turn up to church on sundays. There is a bible study on wednesdays at 4.30 pm which lasts an hour and a half and another one at 9 am before church service on sundays. After church service finishes there is a room at the back where people go to share a coffee or piece of cake. Some people bring homemade cakes and it's a fantastic opportunity to naturally meet and get to know members of the congregation. I recommend this church for all ages. It's a good place to go if you are starting out your journey with the lord or want to know more or follow a calling you have. Excellent service. Everyone is so friendly and the worship is lovely, looking forward to visiting again when i’m in town. Me and my family love coming to church every Sunday and for mid week bible study. The minister brother Marcus Lyons has simplified the LORDS word in his sermons and brought much more understanding of the scriptures to me and my family. He has taught us to handle everything with love and patience. The congregation has shown us a lot of love and has shared their wisdom. They have started a children's worship class, and the teacher has made the experience fun for my daughter well learning at the same time. Thank you Torrance Church of Christ for helping me and my family grow Spiritually. Church of Christ is a place with good people who have kind hearts! LATELY they have put a lot of prayer & effort into making the place welcoming for new attendees & you can really feel the love flowing through there. The residents are down to earth and very kind, they make you feel like part of the family from the get go. Highly Recommend.
