Dear Wayne, we see how you live your life each day, in Christian service, with grace, love, kindness, and patience with others. I am so thankful for your eagerness and passion to reach people for Christ. You live out your Christian walk in front of others, and set an example of a personal relationship with Christ Jesus. Thank you for sharing that with others for the sake of the kingdom of God. Open Table Church is truly a second family to us. We moved here almost 4 years ago and knew how important it was to us to find a church community. Our first Sunday in Walnut Creek we walked into Otc and haven’t been anywhere since :) they welcomed us with open arms and have been such a support through small groups, prayer, and just being there in any time of need. The list could go on and on. We feel so blessed to have found this church family. We love the way that Pastor Wayne preaches directly from the Word and also connects to his congregation on a personal level. Open table church has been my church home for the last 6+ years. They do their best to make you feel welcome and at home. There are lots of small groups to help you connect with other people and build life-giving relationships. There is a prayer time after the service and all are welcome to come and we will join with you to gift your need or situation up to God and let the HS minister life to your body and soul. We look forward to seeing you. And the coffee is GREAT! OTC is a wonderful church. My wife and I have been attending for six years. There are numerous small groups throughout the week with excellent leadership and sound biblical teaching. It’s wonderful to meet in Civic Park, a natural cathedral. And, when the weather’s cold or raining, we have access to the assembly hall and the library. My wife and I highly recommend this church. We are extremely thankful to Pastor Wayne and the leadership of the church for their gracious welcoming spirit to all different kinds of people. The Holy Spirit of our Lord Jesus Christ is present in this church. OTC is a great place to ask questions and explore and learn about the Bible and what it means to follow Jesus Christ. Wayne Phillips is excellent at communicating and has a down-to-earth style. And bonus - we meet outside at the park Sunday mornings. We love it! I consider OTC family and love the mix of people from different backgrounds who attend. There’s a lot of opportunities to join various small groups and get involved.
