New satellite service of City Bible Church Cerritos. All the great things about the Cerritos location in an urban context. The gospel desperately needs to be brought back to the city as it has become such a dark place without the hope of Christ. City Bible Church is truly that light in a dark place. In addition to regular Sunday worship there's a lot of other events and outreaches that take place at the church site as well as other places nearby. If you're looking for a church that has solid biblical teaching, genuine community, and is willing to engage with the culture then I encourage you to come visit us. My original Yelp Review: I started going to City Bible in 05/2018 because I found them on Yelp! Nice small church w/ the organic taste of hospitality. Update 02/2022: I've grown so much at this church, and have seen many others grow at this church. Especially in relation to church community, it's been a fresh experience of The Lord's design for church. Deeper commitment to a church has resulted in good fruit of steadfastness, longsuffering, self-control, and that shared bond of gospel partnership. During the pandemic, It's been fine meeting outdoors in the parking lot, and the Lord is doing some great things in 2022: Little Tokyo City Tours, Street Evangelism, Orphanage Mercy Ministry, Creative Art Shows, Theology Class, Board Game Tournaments & Meetups, Prayer Retreats, and more! This is a small church that was meeting on the parking lot. The people there are very friendly. They welcomed me and visited with me but there was no pressure on me. The pastor preached a very good bible-based message. We sang a lot of Christmas songs and concluded the service with a candle lighting ceremony. All in all I would highly recommend visiting this church to spread the Gospel light in the city of Los Angeles. A great local church that is all about the three words in the name. A church about the Bible and reaching the city. City Bible Church is on the smaller side with about twenty people every week so it has a nice cozy feeling. They have another service later in the day in Cerritos which is the bulk of its membership. It's on the 2nd floor of the JEMS building and has it's own parking lot which makes it really easy to attend.
