We had been going to a mega church in South Bay for a few years. My son said the children’s ministry was so big it felt like he rarely saw the same people twice. To be honest it was easy to be lost. We prayed about a change and found LAX Calvary Chapel and decided to give it a try. We haven’t left and it’s because of the smaller congregation where we eventually get to meet (and like) everyone. And it’s also because Pastor Justin teaches simply and wholly word by word through the Bible. I appreciate how he digs in and weekly reveals grace in every sermon. We highly recommend this church. I am so blessed to have a family church like CCLAX. I have been part of this family of Christ for about 7 years and I am praying that I will continue to be part of this amazing body of Christ for many more years to come. The Pastors and their wives and children are just amazing. Always ready to pray with you and sit with you and hear your good and difficult moments. Love the solid teachings and the true love they have for everyone (Jesus heart). I so encourage you to come visit this church and experience for yourself the love of Christ that flows through them here. John 3:16 This church is more than just a building, it's a family. I have attended CCLAX for over 15 years, and I have continued to grow in my faith from day 1! They teach the Bible, the whole Bible, not just snippets to make you feel good. It is a church for people who love Jesus, have a desire to grow, and want to serve God. All of the Pastor's who teach here are gifted men of God, who truly desire for the church to grow in their understanding of who God is, and what the Bible teaches. My children have also been blessed by the loving, devoted children's ministry and all their teachers. The worship is amazing! And I can honestly say that this body of believers are some of the most genuine, loving, caring people I have ever known. I could go on with great things to say, but this review is probably already too long. If you have a desire to draw near to God, and grow in your faith, then this is the place for you! Awesome God's church. Loved pastor Justin, Joel and Andrew. Very encouraging teaching and guidance from the Bible. People are so friendly and loving and kindness. Love to go to this church. Very good Sunday school and very good coffee shop. Yummy hot coco. I ❤️ this church. I love that they stick to God's word, not man's opinions so much. I do not miss topical sermons at all, and they are not afraid to preach the hard stuff many churches shy away from. If your looking for a church that is not lukewarm this is the place for you.
