Ricfield Community Church is in the heart of Yorba Linda. This is a good family church. Everyone there is friendly. They have a children section so their can learn. They have a game room for th kids. They had a gingerbread house contest which was very fun. I have only attended RCC for 5 months, but it feels like home already. You can feel the love of the Lord in everyone you meet there. Pastor Ward gives a Bible based sermon every single time and I have grown so much in the short time I've attended. Between an awesome Pastor that is truly a gift from God and the amazing congregation this church is real gem. My wife and I had the privilege to visit this church Sunday morning. This was the first opportunity we had to attend in person from Tennessee since Pastor Chris Ward became the Senior Pastor. We studied under Pastor Ward for many years across town and loved his teaching. He does not stray from scripture and is always well prepared to share God’s word. From the moment we pulled into the parking lot we felt welcome. There was an amazing energy on the campus amongst those in attendance. There is a healthy blend of seasoned folks as well as young people. The message was powerful and inspiring. Most importantly it was solid teaching as opposed to topical and “light”. If we lived here we would certainly call RCC home. If you are looking for consistent teaching and a place where you will be valued, I encourage you to visit RCC. This church is a home away from home. The community is full of love and the joy of knowing Christ. The staff is serious about spreading the truth of the gospel with love and honesty. The services are approachable in length and each message is clearly crafted around the theme of that weeks passage. The whole church from top to bottom is also serious about teaching people how to read the Bible themselves and getting people excited about the on going transformation God does in our lives. I can not suggest this church enough for anyone looking to see what a church should be like. Talk to any of the staff or get into a life group, a bible study, and you will quickly see the evidence of their faith. God bless anyone of you on your life and your journey with Christ. My family and I are so thankful for this fellowship, for the solid teaching every week and most of all---my son gets to grow up in community with others that are sharing the joy found in God with him. I have called this church home for many years & am so grateful to do so! I was dedicated here as a baby & was blessed to dedicate my own son here as well.
