Well had both my children baptized here in 1992 n 98 I do want to let it be know that when I was going through my divorce which was in 1993..I called the church to seek counseling n was told by the office receptionist very rudely that there was no place here since I was getting divorced...not only was she cold n quite mean..it really turned me off from being a catholic I didnt return back to saint Martin til 25 years later.Instead went to Calvary Christian churches where I was welcomed with open arms...but came back to Saint Martin due to growing up being a catholic and Italian It just felt right coming back.. I ATTEND pretty regularly however I do want to say some of the parishioners volunteering on Sundays are not only unfriendly if you are an attractive woman..but they barely smile its the most unbelievable thing I have ever seen in any church..I dont let that stop me from attending but I find it annoying to be met with such unfriendly faces when u greet them or smile..I just see that as people who are unhappy inside n really dont have the lord in their hearts ..and outwardly that shows.I suggest you visit n see how you feel yourself. God bless🙏I do want to say the church is quite beautiful and peaceful..other than my thoughts regarding the unfriendly few..most parishioners are friendly.The priest are friendly and mass is never boring because they have a sense of humor ...which I appreciate. Gorgeous place, with 24/7 Adoration!🙏🏻 please take a moment of your busy day to get some peace in His Presence, totally worth it!🙏🏻❤️ Choose another place of worship. This church does not welcome diversity and are hypocritical. They recently decided to host a Super Bowl watch party only to choose to watch the “All American half time show” but they have the nerve to host a yearly carnival where they sell food from various Non-American cultures. So which is it? You want vendors to donate Mexican food for your church so you can raise money but you don’t want to celebrate their culture when given the chance? Really beautiful church with great and strong Catholic community and young families. The community of service. They're wonderful at making you feel welcome. We love the 10:30am mass. We learned to get there around 10:15am to not stress over parking. We also learn to sit closer to the very front. We can be so open to pray and have our 3 year old daughter see how we can participate in mass. We are encouraged to confess and repent, and stay away from sin. The Lord hears the cry of the poor.
