What visitors say
Came from out of town to attend a Sunday vigil. The environment seemed very welcoming and friendly. This is my first time attending a mass that has a projection of the hymns, prayers, and readings (if I can recall correctly). I really enjoyed that as I have trouble at times reading small letters. This church is smaller than my regular one and I found that many of the seats were full (not packed, but looked like a good turnout). It my parish Church. Been going for over 30 years! Wonderful people; Beautiful day to celebrate children's First Communion Day, May 4, 8:30 a.m. Went to the annual fiesta as I have done for countless years as I live within walking distance. I found the security guards at the entrance to be extremely rude and unprofessional. I am a 52 year old man. Having me empty my pockets, lift up my shirt and turn around to enter a carnival seemed extremely excessive and was simply embarrassing. Won’t be back next year. The way they were treating people was completely uncalled for. Here in America we are innocent until proven guilty, not the other way around. This church was nice, clean and the people are very friendly. We visited our favorite priest, Father Dave, who was our priest from our old church in Lake Forest and the service was outstanding like always! We missed Father Dave's sermons, the best ever!
