This church hit all of my key points for a church in the western civilization apathy world of churches. There was a mass baptizing on Easter which was phenomenal. Churches wont survive or thrive if they don't believe in these fundamentals and teach them. Spiritual fruit; love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Then there are the spiritual gifts, laying on hands and healing, casting out demons, prophecy, bringing the seemly dead back to life, miracles and speaking in tongues. Some people might have one or two or none, but I tried and each time I did postured my heart for God. He came through in all three, so when you pray earnestly for the above gifts, God heals almost immediately thousands upon probably over a million but God and Jesus advise to tell no one. Because then you are exploiting yourself and not God. But just doing in secret if possible. But what God commands above all others, is the Great Commision. The only thing we can take to heaven is others, God commanded this not just for the extroverts, or people who have time for it. He commanded ALL. This church believes in these, as I do. Will never belong to a mainstream church, catholic, baptist, presbyterian, etc. They bring their laws not Gods. Its just religon. True believers align with God not men. We’ve been attending Flatirons Aurora for a little over a year now and we love it so much! At first was a little skeptical with it being a satellite location and having the “we can watch at home mindset” but it so much more than that. The community there is just so welcoming. We’ve been fortunate to meet lots of wonderful people here. My kids have loved being part of their kids ministry and VBS during the summer! It’s a smaller church part of an even bigger community but I love the small church feel. First campus visit-have been online member for years. Welcoming & friendly hospitality. Lots of hugs between bro’s & sis’s in Christ! Pastor Josh and the staff here are amazing and pour the love of Jesus into the community. The fellowship I have found here means the world to me. My son loves youth group and camp in the summer. If you feel lost or broken, this is the place for you. I love the worship team and the message Jim be bringing on a screen. Unfortunately it seems like you need to have your life together, to be able to be part of their church family. No email back from pastors or no call from staff just to check up on you when they know you have a serious life problem going on.
