I felt really welcomed, im just starting my process to come back to God. This church has been really good for me. IG: TRAVELWITHARCHER86 It's been quite some time since I last attended church, and my heart has felt some form of guilt. I've struggled with my understanding of God and have consistently, for years, desired to discover the clarity and a sense of certainty within my understanding and belief of God. I still am in the same head space. However, thanks to a wonderful friend who invited me to church tonight, I feel a sense of peace. The message from the young pastor who led the service was impeccable and RELATABLE. The message and story tonight (6/7/2025 Saturday) was about David and Nabal. I was captivated and fully invested from start to finish. I want to directly give my thanks to the pastor and the PHENOMENAL band who touched my heart and re-invigorated my desire to search for my understanding and love for God. Thank you! -Joshua- U.S. Coast Guard Veteran I truly love this church and I’m grateful to be a part of it. However, I feel the childcare situation needs more attention. Today during service there were 16 children placed in one room, ranging in age from 2 to 4 years old. While that may seem manageable to some, I personally felt that the age gap is far too wide and the ratio of children to caregivers is concerning. Younger toddlers have very different needs and abilities compared to older preschoolers, and it’s important for their safety, development, and overall experience that this be addressed. Edit: today they moved my children to a different classroom without being told or informed of the change. The children’s ministry is a mess and for that reason I am leaving Calvary. I really feel at home here. Truly a Bible centered church. The service was great and would love to be here full time. Unfortunately, the Sunday school for the kids is very unreasonable and difficult to deal with. If you have young kids you might want to find another Sunday church home. If no kids or teenagers then a great church! Just not little ones.
