I stand corrected, the church’s website does not identify itself as an Independent Fundamentalist Baptist Church. Google identifies Cross Roads church as an Independent Fundamentalist Baptist Church. Contemporary music with electric guitar and drums on the platform. Service was opened by a woman (lead singer) who opened the service with prayer (if correct, there is a chapter in Corinthian’s that speaks about women leading the service). In regards to my comment on a woman opening the service in prayer, please read 1st Corinthians Chapter 14 and 1st Timothy Chapter 2. Women are an extremely intricate part of any church ministry, however, they are not to lead the men. Most importantly, there was NO presentation of the Gospel to the lost / unsaved visitors present! A presentation (invitation) of the Gospel should always be given to afford the lost to respond. There was NO presentation or even an altar call. It appears the Pastor is more interested in pleasing his congregation than preaching biblical truths and salvation by and through Jesus Christ! Loved the Walk Through Bethlehem special event. Very loving and kind church community dramatization of time of Christ's birth place. CrossRoads church has a great children and youth ministries that our kids enjoy. Preaching is focused on teaching the Bible and how to apply it to your life. We also have Bible Institute classes that you can take for audit or credit. We also have an indoor playground with a cafe that is open during the week. This is the same church that I went to one afternoon. On line it said it was open. Certain times during the day. I was new here in fl and desperately needed to speak to a pastor. When I got there there 2 cars there so I knew someone was was there. After all it said they were open I went to door and it was locked. I knocked. I knocked and I knocked. Then another car came in and went further down to park and disappeared in to another door but I believe still connected to building. I ran down there. I knocked. I knocked and I knocked. No answer. As I stopped knocking someone must have very quickly come out of the first glass door part I was knocking at, becouse in a blink a car drove away. Back up to glass doors and gave it one more try. .. I came home and waited for that call from the pastor himself whom I had left it with promising he'd return thier call. Needless to say, I never got a call like he said on his messege. Too bad .it looked so pretty. Was looking right now today dec 23 2025 for a church open Xmas eve..candl light. Upon comming to website I only then saw by pictures it was the same church & Pastor who ignored both my knock and my call. I was introduced to crossroads three years ago coming here as a snowbird. Loving and caring. The pastors are wonderful. From the music to the worship and Messages the spirit of our Saviour is felt in a wonderful way. God Bless this church.
