I've quite literally grown up while attending this church. The community support is incredible. We've made life long friends, connected through serving on the media team, and I could go on and on about how much fuller my life has become from being here. I would 1000% suggest anyone of any walks of life, all backgrounds, any age.. to come just try walking through the doors. You will feel the love and warmth, and leave feeling empowered and full of purpose. I recently moved to the area, I was really missing my home church and was in search of a church where I could build connections and be a part of a Church family that connects with the community. This is the place!!! I love being around like minded people who love Jesus! The pastors of this church are absolutely amazing and Holy Spirit filled!!! They welcomed me with open arms. If you’re looking for a church where you are family ,this place of worshiping Jesus is for you. I have to mention how many different groups they offer at this church. Just check out their webpage. A huge shout out to my Pastor back home for helping me find this church. When my husband and I were first married and moved here to Daytona Beach from Jacksonville, we were looking for a place to call home. We went “church shopping”, I attended as many connect groups as I could, but I felt like we never quite fit… UNTIL we came to Relevant Church. One service — and we instantly knew. This was home. A place to start and raise a family. Fast forward to 7 years later, three kids later, we are so blessed by all that God has done and is yet to do in our lives at this amazing church!!! To God be the glory!!!!! "At Relevant Church, we don’t do 'religion as usual.' We believe in Jesus Christ—yesterday, today, and forever. Period. We know the world is loud, but we’re here to provide a safe place to grow for every believer. You’re going to get the uncut Word of God here—no filters, no watering it down, just the truth that sets you free. As soon as I came to the door I had my backpack with me because I was just doing a little exploring and they asked to search my bag and I told them no lol so I started to walk away but I said you know what I'm going to worship the Lord so I let them check my bag and at first they said you could let us check your bag and you can go in. Then they asked me if I would just keep it in the front entrance and I started in my head like what the heck so I said okay go ahead so I went in there tell me why when I sat down they had two big old guys come sit behind me so me being me I got up and went to the other side LOL 😂 then they followed me over there. But when I got there it was like already like 45 minutes into the service so I stayed for the second service and then they approached me and asked me my name and I said you all don't make me feel welcome LOL anyways we got into the worship and I went up to the front and started worshiping and they kept coming up to me saying sir can you come sit down we don't allow people in front and I said well I'm worshiping I'm in the presence of the Lord and you guys are grabbing me and disturbing me and and still during worship they finally came up to me and said you got to come with us or we're going to call the cops and so I go back to in the back with them and they're like sir you just look too suspicious and I said are you serious right now you guys got my bag in the front with you you guys checked it and you passed it what do you want from me I just want to worship the Lord and hear the word and they were like well this is our church and I said hold up hold up I thought this was God's church and he said no this is our church and I said okay I'm sorry I came to the wrong place LOL
