What visitors say
My grandmother and I have had horrible experiences with their food pantry workers! A FEW of the women that help with their food pantry have just been SO rude to myself and my grandmother! They treat us like we're trying to steal from them, they are so nasty and quick to get onto you about any little thing they can! They are not helpful and they are just so quick to be so rude ! If they are volunteering, I have NO IDEA why! And if they ARE getting paid, then STOP paying them! Im not too worried about myself but I don't understand why they treated my elderly grandmother so poorly! They have terrible attitudes! Besides those few women, others have been great, helpful and nice and all the men have always been helpful gentlemen! Loved attending worship here while visiting friends in Melbourne this week. The pastor is awesome. He is a younger pastor with an excellent ability to reach the family. The song leader was absolutely wonderful. They were all so passionate about doing their part in worshipping Christ. The rest of the church family was incredibly welcoming and friendly. It is a large building so there is plenty of room for more people to join in a really wonderful church. I can't wait to bring my wife down hopefully after Christmas. If any of you ever visit Washington PA area. We would love for you to join us in worship as a part of our family. Beautiful church . There is a food pantry on Tuesdays from 9-11 am . Anyone who is in need of a little bit of dry goods and clothes are welcome to come. The volunteers are so cheerful and always have a smile on their face. My son has his boy scout meeting here. I haven't been to a church meeting here, but I can tell you about the building. The church is very large, the meeting rooms are spacious, the bathrooms are nice and clean. As far as the main room, it's very large with plenty of seating. There's even tables in there for events. I went for the free food and toys they were giving out to members in the community. I was impressed with the care and help they provide but very disappointed in the people who were there taking advantage but acting rude instead of greatful for any help. Thanks to all the kind wonderful souls who donated there time and items so people in need can have. This place is a regular food bank for the needy. God bless all of you.
