I attended a memorial service there yesterday. Very lovely historical building and the congregation was friendly and welcoming. The preacher was a great speaker and the singing was beautiful. We are members of this congregation primarily because it's a sound congregation. They keep the pure doctrine of Christ in the teachings and the worship service. We only follow the model for worship found in the Bible. Second, the people here are super friendly, they make you feel at home, you leave with joy in your heart. Third, because we like that there are a lot of children so our daughter can grow up with buddies her age. Last, they have a Hispanic service, my husband and I are bilingual, so attend both services. Awesome place to worship!!! Love the singing!! Love the classes for all ages n the day care is very clean n very friendly n great community!!! You feel well welcomed n they are always willing to help you in any way they can!!! Real good for the Spiritual side!!!! So much Church activity n lots more!!!! It's where your heart ❤ has a real home!!!! Great friendly welcoming atmosphere to worship. Was visiting family, but will definitely come back when in town for bible centered engaging worship and Bible class A little slice of heaven here on Earth. You can not imagine the love displayed at this church. Lots of programs for you to join and a mixture of people. The minister, Mike Baker, is also relatable but still scriptural. I love this church! Update 3-31-2025 We have a new minister (not that new anymore but different than my original post). David Pharr has been such a blessing. He is the youngest minister that I have ever had but is filled with so much knowledge. It is an honor to have him (and his lovely wife Amber and beautiful family) to be a part of our congregation. We also have an also youth minister Connor (and his lovely wife Kadyn). They have done some amazing things here at the church with the youth and provided so many incredible memories for us to cherish. Even though they are on the way out, they have left a strong foundation for the next youth minister to continue the traditions. This is a loving church. Correction is done in love and there is a heavy focus on scripture.
