About four and a half years ago, we made the move to Orlando, Florida, and it’s been one of the best decisions for our family. From day one, the Elevation Pastors welcomed us like we were their own. Over time, we’ve seen a real transformation in our family through the youth programs and Sunday mornings. It’s become more than a place we attend, it’s something we genuinely love being part of. In 2022 my son and I moved to Orlando Florida. We had been following Elevation Church for years, but had no idea there were campuses. We immediately started coming and haven’t looked back. God has used this church to transform our lives and after four years our story is not finished. Believing God for the exceedingly abundantly more than we can ask think or imagine. I have to say I’m a Christian man and I’ve never taken the time to write a review about a church, but this situation was just crazy and I could not let it go without the body of Christ knowing this. I went as a first time guest. I showed up late to the 930 service so I decided to stay for the 11:30 AM service. When I walked in the energy was definitely off. It was predominantly Spanish and white people are there so maybe they had something to do with it. I am a black man. But I was bombarded with people just asking me so many questions and just wanting me to join things and they just really made me feel uncomfortable. Then as I’m sitting in the 1130 service is Beginning since there’s something behind me and I turned around and there are two police officers just there and I know that they were there for me because one of the ladies that was initially nice to me. I could tell she was texting about me and things of that nature so maybe Me just standing there quiet made them uncomfortable and feel like they needed the police there but the Holy Spirit is definitely not in that place. I can tell it is a spirit of racism. Who knows whatever else is present there in the spirit, but it’s not the Holy Spirit. Thank God, I have been walking with the Lord spending time in prayer and reading my Bible for years. Because baby Christian new to the faith would’ve been highly offended, and probably would’ve turned away from the Lord, and that blood would be on that churches hands; that ladies hands. I did not deserve that treatment for just standing there and existing. The only thing I can Think of is maybe that lady is demonically influenced and the demons in her recognize someone who really has the Holy Spirit entered that church. I could go on for days, but that was my first time experience there. We came to Elevation Church on Easter Sunday of 2023. I was worried coming from a traditional Lutheran Church that we wouldn’t like the service. As it turns out we loved the Worship Experience and the sermon and when we left I told my wife we need to figure out how to get involved. We have been involved in serving regularly and have met some of our greatest friends. We have really found family. Pastor Furtick is one of the best communicators and Pastors that I have ever heard. Sermons are relatable to todays life and weekly I learn more to keep my faith. Love my church family! This place is amazing! If you are looking for a community that will love on you, genuinely pray over you and yours as well as help you grow in your faith, than this is the place. We have 2 small kids that love going to church not because they have to but because they get to. Love how much they too are growing in their faith! Church doesn’t just stop on Sunday with them they keep it going all week with the e-groups. You should visit and see for yourself 🙏🥰
