Very friendly church. Great for all age groups & stages of life. The kids classes are well staffed. The preaching was wonderful with plenty of scriptural references. This is a place where Christians and families can thrive. The campus church is not just a college/student church, everyone is welcome. Campus Church in Pensacola, Florida is a large congregation (could be classified as a megachurch). The church is located on the property of Pensacola Christian College, however, the church is a separate and distinct entity in which anyone in the community can attend. The church is an Independent, Fundamental, Baptist Church and conducts services accordingly. They follow a typical order of service, starting with video announcements, a worship service with traditional and new hymns, corporate prayer, and then a sermon (typically expository) from the Senior Pastor Dr. Jeff Redlin. Although, the church typically does not include an altar-call style come-down invitation. Campus Church has a variety of ministries it conducts. For adults, the church has multiple Bible study groups during the Sunday school hour. They also have Wednesday evening small groups that meet for a variety of reasons (Lifeshare book study, Grieving and healing heart ministry, Overcomer Conquer series, Woman to Woman ministry, etc.). For the youth, they have an active Teen group which meets on Wednesday evenings. They also have a nice Children's Sunday School program which utilizes Joyful Life curriculum (last I checked, this could be changed by now). The church also conducts a Master Clubs service for the children on Sunday evenings. Campus Church conducts a variety of other ministry events and community events as well. Campus Church is a great ministry. Though, no church is without some drawbacks. The size of this ministry makes it difficult to have a church "family" feel. It is nearly impossible to meet and fellowship with the majority of the church as the student attendees leave periodically throughout the year and the church members are so vast in numbers it is difficult to build those relationships. Although, after you eventually build those relationships, the bonds created can be great. Ever since COVID, Campus Church has started heavily relying on technology (livestream, video announcements, QR code Gospel tracts, Online giving, Realm) to which I personally feel is negative to the ministry, however, that is an exceedingly personal opinion. There is no stated dress code for non-PCC attendees, however, it can feel very judgmental if you arrive in anything less formal than Khakis and a Polo. Overall, I recommend Campus Church as a great Bible-believing church in the Pensacola community. Although, I would recommend considering the drawbacks, and weighing them against the positives of the ministry. This is not everyone's style of church, but it should be a church everyone can consider to call their home. HUGE auditorium with plenty of seats. Several big screens so you can see everything going on, and the sound system was very well designed. The music was God honoring and the message was well presented. Coming from a small church congregation, I felt "lost"/out of place, but we still enjoyed worshipping with other brothers and sisters in Christ. 💜 It is a large church, but their goal is not to have a big church. It is to serve God. The pastor preaches good, Biblical messages, and even though you could get lost in the crowd, they work very hard to make sure that you are seen and understand you are welcome and valuable. Oh we highly recommend this place. We came here with our 6 children. We have always listened to pastor Jeff on rejoice radio from Idaho but since we were going to Destin for vacation we really wanted to stop by Campus church. The orchestra was beautiful, the choir was beautiful, God’s word was spoken by pastor Jeff. It’s a blessing to be here. The parking lot for visitors is plenty enough and we were guided by the helpers outside when we told them it’s our first time. It really is a blessing if you can come to this church!
