First City Church is striving to be the hands and feet of Christ. The love and compassion from the people at FCC is remarkable. They have become family to us. The work they do in the foster care community is beyond amazing. If you come and plug in, serve on a team & join a small group you will have an amazing support group and extended family. You can't stay on the outside looking in you have to join the body of Christ and you will have an amazing experience. Their main goal is to get you into a real relationship with Jesus Christ. There is an amazing nursery, kids and youth ministry. There is a growing & diverse congregation. A great experience for my first time. People were warm and inviting! I'm going back this Sunday I enjoyed it so much! If you are looking for a church that teaching is align witj the Word this is the one. We are not local but traveling to Pensacola for couple days. We always keep Sunday as worship day before having any fun. So glad we came and worship with them. Worship and Sermon were great. I truly feel the move of Holy Spirit. Fantastic worship. Young crowd, growing church. Free coffee in their first floor gathering room. Great worship team! Great missions they are ACTUALLY working hard on! Many lovely people. However, as a person who struggles with depression, I've found that I easily fall between the cracks. The church is now so sizable that the family feeling is lost. Clicks happen everywhere, but if you don't fit the vibe or family situation, you won't get the support network. This might not be true for everyone, but it was for my family.
