My husband and I were looking for a church where we could not only connect with the members but also build a personal relationship with the pastor. We previously attended a mega church, and while the worship was wonderful, we found it difficult to truly connect with leadership. Futures Church has a beautiful, tastefully decorated space and even a well-structured coffee area where people can gather after services, which creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The members we met were very friendly, and we are thankful for the kindness we experienced. That said, our biggest struggle was feeling connected to the pastor. Understandably, he is very busy, especially with the exciting work of planting new churches, which is an important mission. Still, for us, having a relational pastor is essential to growing in our faith. At times, the church felt more like a business hub than a spiritual home, and I found myself longing for a deeper pastoral relationship. We share this with love and hope, wishing that Futures Church continues to grow not only in numbers but also in building meaningful relationships that nurture faith on a personal level Our family first began attending Futures Church in 2017 at one of their very first campuses near Alpharetta. This was prompted after a close friend reached out during a major health crisis in our lives. From the moment we stepped in, we felt the presence of God and the genuine love of the community. It’s been amazing ever since. Our son absolutely loves it here, and every Sunday fills us with spirit-filled energy that carries us into the week with strength, clarity, and the power of the Holy Spirit. Pastor Ashley and Jane Evans are truly incredible. Ashley’s book No More Fear helped guide me out of one of the darkest places of my life and realigned my focus with the truth of God’s word. It was a powerful and timely gift. Pastor Ryan and his wife Lindsey are equally amazing, and everyone involved in this church brings humility, passion, and purpose to what they do. We are so grateful to call this our church home. Futures is a place of transformation, encouragement, and deep spiritual growth. Highly recommend to anyone searching for a powerful, Spirit-led community. Futures Church Alpharetta has been my church home for two years now. It's an exceptional church, where God's word is taught, the Holy Spirit is obviously present, and Christ is at the center. It's the friendliest church I've ever been to -- it's not just that people greet you & smile (though they do!) -- people have a sincere desire to get to you know as a person. In addition to Sunday services (worship, prayer, meaningful sermons & fellowship), Futures offers small groups, weekly prayer times, outreach events (like Easter egg hunts, family Sundays & an annual fashion show) and more. Come visit and see for yourself. Future Church was the first church I visited here in America, and it has long impressed me with its strong presence of the Holy Spirit and hospitality. Our family has been attending Futures church for over 3 years and we have felt welcome from Day 1! It’s been an awesome place for us and our kids to grow and find genuine community!
