My wife and I visited Grace Fellowship for the first time on August 3, 2025. We were warmly welcomed and appreciated how friendly everyone was. The service had the feel of a close-knit family gathering, with people of all ages in attendance. The music was pleasant—uplifting without being loud or overbearing—and the teaching was solid and grounded in Scripture. We truly appreciated our first visit. Straightforward Bible knowledge and worship. Despite playing the guitar and in bands for years, this is not a rock concert. Nor do I want to attend one when praising God and fostering a relationship with our Creator. They hold fast to their core beliefs regardless of what would make them more popular on a secular basis. Northpoint and the like are better suited for pop-gospel teachings. You decide. Compared to the upbeat services that I am used to at First Baptist Atlanta, Woodstock First Baptist and North Point, I felt this service to be a bit bland. I couldn't feel much energy or the Holy Spirit in the room, and the songs the band performed were unfamiliar. In my humble opinion, there are better options for a Sunday service. I have attended this church for many years with my family. The church is God-centered, the church family is loving and inviting, and the leadership loves God and teaches from the Word of God. I hope to find a church that strengthens my relationship with Christ and my relationships with others like this one has when I move to my new home in the next few months. If you don't have a church home, check out Grace Fellowship and feel free to find any of the pastors and ask any questions. They have children and youth programs as well as different study classes, including one that accommodates predominately Spanish speaking people. A terrific Christian church where all aspects are God-centered and people are cared for. Some of the other distinctives include teaching through books of the Bible (rather than topics), leadership by a group of elders (rather than a single pastor), encouragement to ask questions, and contemporary music with an appreciation hymns of old with deep meaning in the lyrics.
