This place is awesome!! Although we are not members (we visited a few years ago and then found our current church body at Community Bible Church), this campus is stunning! we take a family walk every single evening and enjoy the beautiful landscape!! NorthStar is very active in their community from hosting some school events (like a social and plays for us at Northwest Classical Academy). The Kennesaw and Acworth community feel the light of NorthStar Church’s presence, and we are very grateful for them!!! I absolutely love NorthStar Church. From the moment you walk in you can feel the warmth and authenticity of the community. It is welcoming, genuine, and just feels real. Mike Linch has such a powerful way of sharing the message in a way that actually connects to everyday life. You leave encouraged, challenged, and thinking about how to live it out during the week. As someone who runs Lumina of Hope Foundation, I spend a lot of my time pouring into others. Places like this remind me that leaders need to be poured into sometimes too. The worship, the people, the atmosphere all make it a place where you truly feel like you belong. I am so grateful to have a church like this right here in Kennesaw. 💛 I came here to get some help with housing. They literally stopped me right at the door. Wouldn’t even let me inside the church. There were other people that were going in who didn’t look like me. They asked me what was I there for, and I explained to them that someone had referred me there for assistance. She mentioned that they had nothing for me and that they were more focused on building the building next-door. It was an extremely discouraging experience and to know that a church will turn its back is disappointing No matter the color of your skin, I feel like all people should be treated the same. Best church ever!! Mike gives the best sermons I’ve ever heard. Their Kids area is so nice and spacious. The front of the building is all glass- so beautiful! They even have a coffee bar with hot and iced coffee! I want to send a huge thank you to Night to Shine, Tim Tebow, and North Star Church for hosting such an unforgettable event for the special needs community. My son had an absolutely amazing night-dancing, riding in a limousine, walking the red carpet, and feeling like a true VIP. The entire staff and all of the volunteers were incredible-so kind, attentive, and genuinely caring toward everyone there. Events like this mean more than words can express, I truly wish we had something like this in Rome, once a year, it would be such a blessing to so many families. Thank You again for making such beautiful memories for our children/adult in Kennesaw community ❤️
