What visitors say
We had a great time and my kids all agreed we should definitely make a return! The new building preview was very fun to explore on Easter Sunday. Enjoyed the shuttle and very nice people. I visited this church for the first time on 3 May 2026 and was quite excited. Everyone was friendly, from the shuttle drivers to the greeters at the doors. A nice lady sitting in front of me greeted me warmly, and we chatted for a few minutes. The worship service was nice, and all the announcements and impacts were great to hear. Up to this point, I was good, thinking that if the preaching/doctrine is spot on in accordance with Biblical principles, then we would be home free. A guest preacher spoke, and I have to say that what he preached did not align with scripture. His message was about renewing your mind. Nothing wrong with that. He said he was going to do an altar call later, and he wants people to come up with their minds, not their hearts. That was when the music screeched to a stop in my head. It all starts in the heart, so I didn’t understand why he would say that. He kept alluding to the mind only, without incorporating the heart. He began in Ephesians 4:20-23, which discusses the renewing of the mind, but he failed to put that scripture in context with what was said before it in verses 17-19, where it says people are darkened in their understanding because of the hardness of their hearts. Sound familiar? Pharaoh’s heart was hardened, and other examples in the Bible. You cannot have a changed mind if the heart is hardened, and this pastor did not incorporate the heart. There was another scripture he brought up, I think it was Philippians 4:6-7. He was trying to keep it about the mind, but verse 7 clearly states the guarding of hearts and minds. Then, a lady in the audience just interrupted the sermon by “prophesying.” Why was that allowed? At the end of the sermon, he said it again: come to alter, but bring your mind, not your heart. That was it, I got up and walked out. This was a guest pastor, so if that kind of out-of-context teaching is allowed because people want to sensationalize the Word, then I do not need to return to hear what the actual pastor has to say. I had such high hopes because I want to be connected to a local church that preaches the Word, not adding to or taking away from scripture that the Bible clearly warns against (Deut 4:2, 12:32; Prov 30:5-6; Rev 22:18-19). This has been my church for two years now, and when I say you can feel God‘s presence every time I mean that!!! God is making waves at this place!! Come check it out Such a sweet atmosphere! The greetings, the Word, the people, and the entire visit was beyond welcoming! The Pastor truly has a heart for GOD and preaches with such fire and passion. The Spirit of GOD is heavily here and I'm grateful that GOD led us to where His Spirit resides. I plan on returning soon! 🙌🏾🤍🫶🏾 I have to start off by starting that I have never attended this church. I do sometimes give my best friend rides to and from there. And my best friend said this church is great. And I absolutely trust his judgement, especially in this area. He knows a lot about different churches and can almost prove mathematically which one is the best. Go here. You won't be disappointed. You might even see me there sometime.
