Initially, I liked it and even joined! However, I’m a PK born and raised in a Pentecostal church. I chose this church bc it was small and thought it would be more personable, but after joining, I never spoke to anyone personally as I have in any other church I’ve ever joined. I paid tithes and gave what I had to give but when I reached out to the pastor for guidance, I was ignored. Most of the sermons, the prayers and conversations were about money! There was a prayer event with visiting Pastor Angelic Simmons that I attended, that was by far the best and most anointing experience I had at Oasis. Another evening prayer was attempted and the anointing was not in the building. As a “member” I didn’t feel welcome or part of the congregation especially not being able to receive not even acknowledgement from my pastor during a very difficult time in my life. It may have not been of importance to him but detrimental to me! If I wasn’t strong in my faith and my relationship with God, I would have been a soul lost that God would have held “Pastor” accountable for! You never know what ppl are going through and you should be mindful of how you treat ppl . God Don’t Play About Me!! Needless to say, I haven’t been back! Focus more on saving souls not how deep you can dig in their pockets! Good Bless…. I have attended this church for 4 years and I love it! Pastor Murray is sincere and love people and most of all God! What I love the most is that this church does some much for the community! whatever you give you see it immediately turn someone life around in the local community! So many testimonies and good deeds! i feel honored to attend and see people lives change including my own! I really enjoy this church. The atmosphere along with the teaching is amazing. I just wish that the 11am service for the Paulding campus was not rushed due to service starting at 12:30 for the Atlanta campus. When Pastor Murray is teaching you can feel the spirit in the atmosphere and then often times it has to be cut short bc of time. It would be great if the time was a little different. However it's an awesome place to worship and the expansion is an absolute blessing! I love this church. I feel so connected when I'm there. Pastor Murray has always allowed god to lead him and brings a great message. Since it's about a 2 hr drive from me I watch online every Sunday. Online streaming works great for when I'm out of town as well. I'm in the process of getting back to Cobb County so that I can attend services every Sunday. My first time there, he preached about tithing and I understood the message. I had a wonderful time. Pastor Murray is a down to earth. He treats well ask treat you with warm welcome and like a member not a number. Love it. The Men Ministry has men of honor, respect and dignity amongst the members who get together to make sure all men are doing what the Bible is design to show men for their family and selves. There is not one dull moment in the church. Pastor Carlos and Pastor Jeremy made me comfortable to be in their presents and in the church. I was confined to my home with my disability and PTSD and when I went there I become instantly loved and comfortable. Go and worship with a great group of worshipers.
