Today was my very first time coming to this church. I haven’t been to an actual church service since the beginning of the pandemic. But I must say the time I walked in the door there were nothing but smiles and greetings. I witnessed a baptism and the message gave a new perspective on life and the Word. Pastor Chris is amazing. I highly recommend! I’ll be back soon! My husband is a musician and played the keyboard for the Christmas Eve program. They say first impression is the most important and we felt the love and hospitality from everyone. Chris and his wife did a great job singing/leading the Christmas carols. Pastor Chris spoke on “Peace” and did an awesome job breaking down what peace really meant. It’s a beautiful facility and we can see everyone there is one big family. Love this church so much. The music and message are uplifting and relatable. This church encourages building community and has beach nights at Tybee where we can connect and small groups. We get out in the community to help our neighbors. We painted houses in town, support local single mom’s organizations and have regular blood drives. The kids environments are fantastic and my child looks forward to going. Me and my family have been visiting this church the last two weeks and it's been awesome. Great energy surrounding the church from the moment you park until you leave. Everyone is always in good spirits waving and greeting you and just seem to genuinely be happy. The kids (3) and (8) love their programs and always say they can't wait to go back. I like the live music as well as the relax feel. The Senior Pastor is genuine and transparent. He speaks well and is easily relatable versus the traditional "holier than thou" feeling. Grew up a Christian and very familiar with Jesus, the Bible and story. As I have continued to grow as an adult im not so much a Christian church goer but in touch with God and my personal spirituality. I like that the messages coming across cater to that. They touch on the Bible and references for those who seek that, as well as general lessons and ways to attack the world from just a positive way. It's not like many churches that have such a strict congregation but more of a great family/community vibe. Definitely would recommend checking it out. Not sure if this will be home but look forward to finishing the Parenting serious this month. My wife and I have been going three weeks and felt welcomed right from the parking lot. Once inside we were brought into Gods presence by the worship and spiritually fed by the message! We have found our new church home!!!
