What visitors say
Bethel is my home! Rooted in the word of God, the community is truly a place where everyone can belong! Words can't express the amazing Pastors, Deacons, & congregations members. Services there are just awakening (for lack of putting it into proper words) & if you're nervous of in person services like I use to be, you can watch service online as well. I'm new to Illinois and have been looking for a church home for four months. I've visited numerous churches. They were nice but I didn't feel at home. Upon walking in the front door, I knew it was home. The praise and worship was wonderful, hands were raised and people were truly praising God from the heart. I must say it was wonderful. They actually have prayer meeting on Thursday nights. Did you hear what I said? Prayer meeting! It makes me happy! Gina and I came to Bethel in search of a more intimate relationship with the Lord. Through the worship, the fellowship, and the word of God, we found everything we were looking for and more. Now we are waiting upon the Lord to see what His plans are for us here. We experienced the love of God, through the love of His people. ...thousands of miles from our home in Hawaii, we found our family... I'm a visitor here. You need to visit this Church. An incredible place to meet God! This place is powerful. You go to Church to meet with God's Spirit ... to be assured of your eternity. Beautiful Praise & Worship music that meets you where your at. The Word and the manifested presence of God.
