Ever since my first visit there, my husband and I felt so welcomed by everyone, it surly feels like home. Pastor Gregory and his whole family are absolutely amazing. And I cannot forget about the hype team. I started going to this church online at first and was immediately compelled to be there in person! (Hoffman Estates campus). I said to myself, if the Holy Spirit is this strong from my living room, how strong is it being there in person? Well, before I even got through the doors, I heard the worshippers singing praises to God and I could feel His presence, immediately. I was truly blessed and as a bonus I was baptized in the Holy Spirit! 🙌🏾 This experience has forever changed my relationship with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. It’s deeper and has brought me closer to Him. I’m excited about my growth and knowledge of His Holy Word! We saw the usher be yelled at by a guy with white hair telling him to stand at a certain place and yell at him again because he didn’t stay at the place. It was odd and even the usher said that the guy was yelled at him. Tried to ignore that but as soon as the sermon started the same guy with white hair came to us and said our toddler was being too loud. Toddler was not crying, whining, he asked us 2-4 questions and after that he wasn’t talking. He said our toddler was being too loud and there was a tv where we could watch the sermon. We walked out. How was a toddler being too loud? There are babies and kids babbling/whining and it doesn’t bother me because I know what it’s like. If there is an expectation for little ones to be COMPLETELY SILENT, tell parents as they walk in or have signs or put it up on the screen. Will not be returning. Beware if you have little ones too. Excellent place. If you are looking for a church where the Word of God is faithfully preached and where you can grow within a healthy Christian community, this is the perfect place for you. Here you will find a safe environment for you and your family, where your children can also grow spiritually, surrounded by love, biblical teaching, and Christian values. Feels like home. Safe space to be yourself and come as you are with lots of love from the time you park your car, entering into the building and taking a seat. Pastor and his family keep it real where you can get kick in the pants to get it together or lovingly real where you get a hug and hand held to guide you to what's next.
