My friend was looking for a smaller church locally and asked me to attend with her. This church seemed to have some amazing amenities for kids and I can see the congregation has a great sense of community. They have a nice size parking lot and it is easy to find your way around. They have a contemporary service here at 10:00am. The alter was very well decorated and I love the fact they have live band playing on stage. The chairs are very comfortable, and you can see the stage from all angles it seemed, plus there were 2 large screens to help with viewing options. Along the side walls they have seating options for families with round tables. Everyone was pretty friendly, the congregation seemed like a mix of seniors and young families. The only thing I noticed that I wouldn't be able to connect with is they vary between having a week where the sermon is in person and another where it is taped at another location, which is the Oakbrook location, which I just find distracting when I am watching a screen, but I am not changing my stars over it because I know it's just a preference thing. On a side note, if you live in the area and have a young family it does seem to be a good match. I was impressive to see the area where coffee and water thermos were set up for people before and during the service. A wonderful place to heal your soul! If you're looking for a place, to meet people just like yourself, a place to experience Jesus on an intimate level and understand what forgiveness means, come on by, we'd love to welcome you and talk more. Praise God from whom ALL BLESSINGS FLOW This church volunteer are very friendly. Great and friendly staff. Always welcoming and friendly. Great place to go to worship and get closer to God.
