No effort is made to INCLUDE nearby residents 65 and older. They claim “OUTREACH” as a mission but mean they provide video streaming. Elderly can donate money on line for projects and mission but have NO WAY TO CONNECT WITH PEOPLE- the one thing we desperately need. No Bible study leadership, no Communion. Unable to serve with others at the Pantry or Kitchen. No way to attend “special” music or celebrations. Most of All - no way to be with people. If you are 65 and older BE PREPARE TO BE ISOLATED FROM YOUR CHURCH IF YOU CANNOT DRIVE. Sit alone, watch the service, sing by yourself, watch communion,, Remark about the sermon to yourself, Feel the warmth of people worshiping together -ALONE. There are not That many who would appreciate a ride, pay for gas, pay for your bus! I have re- read your mission statement. It should read, “. We want to connect with people as long as it doesn’t take up any of our time. Old people are too much trouble to pick up. They are slow, mentally or physically or both. If they can’t get here on their own, too bad. We will happily take their tithes and gifts as well as money they leave to the church when they die. Just as Jesus said, Love God and Love one another- if it’s not too much trouble… Great family church. Lots of groups to get involved with. Missions include the on-site food pantry, kids coats, and many other local and far away projects. The youth group is one of the best youth groups I have ever seen with many fun activities, seasonal retreats and mission trips for the students. Preschool Rating Only. Great place, very organized, professional, and friendly. They meet every kid and adult at the door and seem to recognize each. My interactions is from taking my nephew there, and he is doing great. Learning a lot. This church is amazing! They were voted the 2020 Best Place to Worship in Carmel by the Best of Carmel Awards! They have something for everyone. I especially love their Youth and Children’s Programs! I was referred here by a church member for help. Not only were we blown off in an emergency/one time situation but we were spoken to with pure disrespect and hate. Never would we expect this from a Church of God. I think they should watch who they hire in their church because what they have now is ruining the good they represent. I'm more sorry for the members of this church because I dont think they really have a clue on who they are dealing with behind closes doors.
