This is where they have the Plainfield Farmers Market every Wednesday. My grandkids always look forward to going because they can get Italian ice or ice cream, free popsicles and water and this time they had a bounce house. There was a guy singing up on the steps, he sounded great! There was a long line at the Neier tent because they were selling fresh corn, tomatoes, potatoes, zucchini,... The only bad thing about the farmers market is that it is not year round. Plainfield Friends is very welcoming of ALL people. My first day visiting after the service I was welcomed by many of the congregation (FRIENDS). I have been attending for 3 years and grown so much in my faith & know that Jesus Christ is my savior & died for me & YOU! I hope to meet you at a service and be that friend that greets you. God Bless You & keep you safe. Warm friendly people. Take the time to check it out and see if we can help you to meet your spiritual needs. We went to the farmers market. Had fun visiting with the vendors and the people who brought their dogs to the market! A great community program by the Indiana Room employees of the Plainfield Library about historic buildings and people of the town.
