I have been attending 1st church for about 4 years. This congregation has continually been open, big hearts open minds. We are welcoming to All. We have many ministries that you can participate in or lead. Our building is beautiful, 100 plus years old. The Worship Center/ Sanctuary is a perfect atmosphere for a contemporary blended service. We invite you to come worship with us, join the church if you are looking for a church home with a loving family. We are not seeking people to “pay our bills” we are looking to find new desciples to work side by side with to be the hands and feet of Christ in Covington Kentucky. First Christian Church on the corner of Fifth and Madison, Covinton, Ky. Is a Beautiful bldg. whose doors are open to all who wish to serve and worship God. We welcome all people to come in and be comfortable in your skin......straight, gay, it matters not! We had our wedding ceremony at First Christian Church and had a great experience. Sheri and Pastor Tracy were a pleasure to work with. They were responsive and worked with us to meet all our needs. I would recommend First Christian Church if you want to get married in an open and accepting church that does not feel stuffy with classic traditions. they SERVE GOD & HELP HIS OTHER CHILDREN they invited Breakfast of Covington to serve the homeless or other hungry people Tues, Wed, Thurs mornings. They serve community dinners Sun@4pm They also host two N.A. homegroups, "Garden of Hope" Fri8:30pm "Becoming Something From Nothing" Sat10pm "we serve God by service to others" Truly a place that tries to live up to their mission " to welcome wholly, love authentically, and share God's grace abundantly." I get way to excited when I'm here. It makes me so happy!
