Most of everyone was amazing sweet and calm, food selection was amazing best I have seen. But at one point a older man with the church was raising his voice at my deaf brother in law I tried to tell him that he was deaf and instead of listening to me walked passed and continued to raise his voice until he reached him. I understand no one was supposed to be standing on that side of the hall but it's very disrespectful to raise your voice at a deaf person as if they will magically hear you. Also after that he went back to his chair than around 10 minutes later calmly walked over to other hearing people and politely told them to move over and get out of the hall. Other than that was amazing please don't let this post deter you church was great that just soured our time there. I felt that there must have been a better way to distribute the food, especially to the elderly and physically challenged people. Great place to come realize that the cracks in your mirror are not crevices but the roots that tie us all together into the family of God. They have the best pantry in town but they're rude to people. They have no organization to how they hand out numbers for pantry they don't care if you work or if you were at the church to get a number at 1am but went home bc your a human and tired and disabled wkth disabled children at home. Apparently you should just sit outside the church all night if that's what it takes to get a reasonable number. So even after going through all that I had to wait and be number 88. They don't not welcome comment or opinion on bettering the process. For those reason I have no confidence in the churches ability to deliver anything in an.organized or respectful manner and I wont be attending any services. Doing these things correctly are part of doing God's work. I am way too sick to sit outside in the heat and wait for someone to show up at a different te every week. I love this church! It is exciting to see God grow his people here. There is compassion for others. And the Bible is taught as infallible word of God - absolute truth. Worship is powerful. This is a place that accepts you as you are, cares for your needs, and then teaches you what it means to know and trust God and his Word. I am definitely fed here.
