This church holds such a special place in my heart because it’s where I begin and continue to grow in my walk with God. It’s where my Christian life truly takes root, and even now, I carry the foundation it gives me every single day. The teachings are grounded in the Word and fully aligned with the teachings of Jesus. Every service speaks directly to my spirit, challenges me to grow, and reminds me who I am in Christ. The messages aren’t just words — they are truth, guidance, and life. Southland doesn’t just talk about faith — they live it. They serve wholeheartedly, love genuinely, and create a space where people can encounter God in a real and personal way. I am deeply grateful for this church. It is where my faith grows, where I am mentored, and where I continue becoming who God is calling me to be. Visited my 2023 college graduate daughter's Christian church for Mother's Day. Her steady boyfriend volunteers working for the church on the tech & cameras. Very mellow rock music. The pastor seemed down to earth while teaching. Nothing too eccentric & no pressure. I did take communion & it was clean & safe. If I lived there in that state, I would probably be a regular attendee. At first glance the church was intimidating. Upon seeing first time Parkers spot and a welcome crew as you walk in they quickly dispelled any stress. The church is indescribably beautiful. The seats are cushy and the people are friendly. The worship amd praise team and singing was amazing. You can definitely tell this church was filled with the holy spirit and God ever present. Highly recommended for nervous or first timers very comfortable. Many groups to join as well for Sunday school study before church or on off days. A++ We have visited Lexington twice in the last 3 months and have attended this church. To be at church so large it amazes me how personal they are and you can tell that they love their community. I love the relevancy and the truth of their sermons and their worship. I have been going to the church since I was a baby, I absolutely love this church. The pastors are so nice and welcoming to every new person. They have new hair response for anyone who has never been to the church so that they can get to know you. Anyways, just wanted to share that this was an amazing church and I think you should join!!!!✝️
