This is the best church I have ever been to. I just moved to Florida and hope I can find a similar church. They made me feel welcomed at a time in my life when I felt hopeless and alone. Pastor Ryan's sermons are amazing, insightful, and touched me deeply. The environment is incredibly inclusive and warm. I felt that his sermons were smart and based on true knowledge of the bible. It felt like a breath of fresh air to be in a non-judgemental space where we were valued as humans and children of God. Really sweet, non-denominational church. They have gatherings in Spanish sometimes too. Every once in awhile I’ll see them helping the homeless and providing food. It is nice to see people who give back! We had a bad night and got up too late to go to church services at most places. Being new in town, I went online trying to find a Bethesda church with 11 AM services. Hard to find! But I finally found this one, only about 5 minutes away. We couldn’t possibly get there by 11, but I decided to go anyway. We arrived about 11:20, in the middle of a great devotional about being thankful regardless of bad things that might be happening to us. I could relate to that! When they had a part of the service where people told about what they were thankful for, I told the crowd I was thankful I had found them. They naturally applauded. After the service, a lot of them stood around talking- a sure sign of a great church. We were of course included. They greeted us like old friends who had been away for years. Public Meal ends at 12pm allegedly on Bethesda Cares site so why was I turned away @ 11:40 am being told it’s finished.. I was out to the Sunday market in August 2018, when I found this church. Or let me say, "when this church found me". When I walked through those blue door I felt the warmest welcome I had ever felt. The congregation was of many colors and smiles. The music was lively and it reminded me of my childhood in the gospel church. I really like this church and when my family came in December for Christmas, they really like it too. If you are looking for something real, this is the place, CIB. Come join us every Sunday, I think you're going to like it.
