Pastor Jim and Pastor Tom are two of the best preachers of the gospel. Pastor Ed. Dobson was my first pastor at Calvary, I will never forget how much he suffered from ALS. I was water baptized and shared my testimony in 1997. All staff, worship leaders, Elders and Decans deserve high respect! Beautiful space for the church to worship our God and gracious savior, Jesus Christ! Also a lovely venue to thank God for & celebrate recent graduates. I love the stained glass which is modern but still meaningful. I have been attending this church for over a year, and I'm amazed every week at how much preparation is put into each service. I can always feel that the pastor, staff, and volunteers give their all to fully dedicate the service to God. This church is a great role model. Thank you God for leading us to such an amazing church. Highly recommend!!! The sanctuary looked reverent. Everyone dressed up, ladies in dresses, gentleman dressed up, no going to the ball park attire. The worship was a bit more contemporary but no crazy concert with light show. No background lyrics screens that takes your attention away from the worship The pastor (well dressed in slacks and a button down) started our passionately and boldly explaining the Equality act. Then rolled into encouraging the congregation on being lovingly bold, and about persecution. All while reading a segment of Philippians. Then communion while we sang: “Lord I need you oh I need you”. So so good! good gospel preaching and a good worship Although, I have not visited Calvary's building, I do watch the pastor online. I really like what he has to say and I feel that his sermons come from a place of honesty and integrity. We are hoping to see him preach in-person in the new year the next time we are in the area.
