Finally found my church! Pastor Cody is awesome and tells it like it is! God bless gr.church ❤️ I've been attending this church for a while now, and one thing that really stands out is the pastor's genuine care for everyone in the congregation. He goes out of his way to make sure we all feel loved and supported, which creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere. If you're looking for seminary-level dissertations on Sunday morning, you won't find that, but the messages are heartfelt and focus on a simple, encouraging message: Jesus is there to help us through life’s challenges. The pastor’s enthusiasm shows his dedication to lifting people up and pointing them toward faith in a practical way. It’s a great place for anyone looking for a supportive community and biblical guidance. I knew I was a child of God but this church was able to light the fire inside me! I now go here with my husband and it has truly been an encouragement to see this church family grow individually and as a whole. Cannot recommend more. If you are interested please give it a try. It only takes one moment to change your life! As Pastor Cody would say, let's gooooo! A decent Church. I was only there once because a friend invited me and to me it was your typical all-inclusive Church where they played a band and singing before and singing at the end with a pastor talking in the middle. These are not the churches I grew up attending with my parents but what do I know. I'm used to singing out of a hymn book and then listening to a priest or a pastor dressed appropriately talking on the Bible not wearing jeans and rolled up shirt trying to look cute and cool for the Modern Age. Maybe it was just me but the place also had a strange smell and it was so sickly sweet that I actually had to get up halfway through the service and hang out for the remainder of the time in the lounge area because I could not take the smell anymore. The people seem nice and I'm not disparaging anyone I'm just giving my opinion that is all. Started watching online while caring for my elderly mother in August/Sept 2024. Started attending in October in person. Preaching is sound and biblical. Large homeschool presence with lots of opportunities to connect with other families. IE skating parties, birthday parties, Field trips, book clubs. Very diverse age group and backgrounds. We attend a Wednesday night bible study and my husband pointed out what an exceptional turnout they have for the various Wednesday night study groups. It's very much a "we're all in" church body. If you are a visiting and fill out the visitor card someone from staff will reach out. We we able to meet people almost immediately and get plugged in. Really enjoy the Sunday night study going through the bible recap and open discussion. Nursery is well organized and all ministries well structured. New youth pastor is great and highly engaging with youth group and young adults. Highly impressed with the transparency in money, vision, etc. They had several weeks where the leadership was available after church for any and all questions including budget etc. We officially joined a week ago and I'm very excited about that future and their plans for GR Church. Feels like home in a short time!
