From the moment I walked into Vive Culture church I knew I found home. Over the last 8 months Pastor Brian and Pastor Alicia have poured so much into me, my spiritual growth and the community. They continuously find big ways to give back to this amazing city by partnering with so many non profit originations and setting up city wide serve days called “I love my city”. Lead pastor Brian brings a real but fun approach to Gods amazing word and leaves you craving Gods word more and more after each service. I pray this review gets read and that the person reading it not only finds God, but FINDS GOD AT VIVE CULTURE CHURCH. This church has given me life, purpose and most all… COMMUNITY TO STUDY GODS WORD AND DO LIFE WITH. I’m beyond blessed to have found such an amazing church with amazing pastors and people. God is good. Walking through the doors of a church for the first time in over three decades felt… significant. To be honest, a wave of nerves washed over me. Would I feel out of place? Would I even remember how things worked? Those worries, thankfully, dissolved almost immediately. From the moment I was greeted at the entrance by a genuinely warm smile and a friendly "Welcome!", I felt an unexpected sense of ease. It wasn't a forced or overly enthusiastic greeting, but a sincere acknowledgment that made me feel seen. This welcoming spirit seemed to permeate the entire atmosphere. People were chatting easily, there was a palpable sense of community, and yet, as a newcomer, I didn't feel like an outsider looking in. The service itself was engaging and thought-provoking. The message shared by the pastor resonated deeply, speaking to universal themes of hope and connection in a way that felt both relevant and accessible. It wasn't preachy or judgmental, but rather an invitation to reflection and perhaps a different way of looking at things. Even the music was uplifting and inclusive, drawing you in without feeling exclusionary. What struck me most was the genuine sense of connection among the people. There were smiles exchanged, quiet nods of understanding during the message, and a feeling that everyone was there for a shared purpose. As someone who has been disconnected from organized religion for so long, it was a refreshing experience to witness a community that felt so authentic and supportive. Leaving Vibe that day, I felt a sense of peace and a stirring of something I hadn't felt in years. It wasn't about guilt or obligation, but about a genuine feeling of having found a welcoming space, a place where connection seems to be at the heart of it all. If you're someone who has been away from church for a while, or perhaps has never felt like you fit in, I would wholeheartedly encourage you to visit Vibe. It might just surprise you in the most wonderful way. VIVE is an incredible church. Bible based teaching and Christ like love for attendees. When I first moved to KC, I was blown away by how much they remembered about me after my first visit. They are passionate about Jesus Christ, His Word and His people. Pastor Brian and Alicia Rose are some of the most genuine believers I’ve ever met. We moved away for two years and they continued to check on us as if we were still in KC. When we eventually moved back to KC we made sure to rejoin our family at VIVE. If you’re looking for a church who will hold you accountable to the Word of God, help you grow and love you as they lead, THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU! This is your next home away from home! Wow I can't say enough good things about this church. I love that their roots are in the bible, the worship is incredible, kids staff is outstandingly friendly, they're not afraid to step out against social injustices. Best of all you really do feel like family when you're at VIVE. VIVE Culture is a community where you can feel at home no matter what your background is. They have such a passion for social justice and to see the love and grace of God bring life, healing, and unity to Kanas City and beyond. They are a great family church that has a heart to raise up the next generation leaders to impact KC. No matter what you've done, or where you've come from, there's a place for you at VIVE Culture.
