Amazing, Bible centered community. After searching for a long time in Chapel Hill, we discovered Calvary Chapel in a plaza, seemingly hidden away. While their location might be unconventional, their love of Christ and deep relationships grounded in a relationship with God is obvious. The church has probably 150 people, and has a balanced feel where you can meet someone new every Sunday while still finding community. They are active throughout the week and do not operate in a business fashion (as many churches tend to work). If you visit, you will meet many godly Christians (both older and newer) and you will never have to go through a coordinator to establish roots. Strongly recommend. What a beautiful group of people! You feel agape love as soon as you come through the door. Truth is taught here. Scripture is taught verse by verse. We love it here. Warm and welcoming, casual and full of God's love. Study the Word and walk away feeling better than when you came in thanks to His Grace. They teach the Bible verse by verse through the Bible. You get the whole word not just highlights. People are very kind and friendly Great church we visited, great teaching from the Bible
