Welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel like you belong. Nice mix of all ages from young to old. Worship services well doted. Outings and community involvement /outreach/college student outreach etc was what attracted us in first place. The fact that it's not meeting in a church per se is another astuce as we believe the church should be out there, not within 4 walls. The preaching is Bible based, without shortcuts or deviations according to the world or current events, and practical which we feel is the most significant aspect. This is a wonderful church with a Holy Spirit atmosphere that hugs you as soon as you enter the building. The vibe of prayer, worship, community care and love of God is evident, and is a reflection of the leadership here. Pastor Chris's messages are Bible based, thought provoking, well presented and relevent to the Here and Now! You feel the life applications of God's word and you leave with your life's compass pointed in a better direction. A building doesn't make a church, the sincerity and love of the people do. That's what I've found to be well represented at Cross Trail; sincere love of God and love of people. I’ve lived in NC for 10 years now. I left my home church in NJ. Four years ago I visited this church. This church has become my home church. Our Pastor Chris is a Godly humble man who lives a Bible believing life along with his wife Michelle. The members of the church have become my family. Right now I am going through a very hard time and I wouldn’t know where I’d be without the support of my family church. Come visit our church. You will feel a Godly love like no other!!! At CrossTrail, I found a family. From the very first day, everyone welcomed me with kindness and made me feel at home. Pastor Chris and his wife, Michele, are wonderful leaders, and every person at CrossTrail has a unique and loving heart ♥️ Thank you for all the love, support, and for teaching me how to walk with Jesus. Being part of CrossTrail has been one of the best experiences of my life, and I will always carry this church and its people in my heart. If you are looking for a church where you can find love, support, faith, and a true sense of family, I highly recommend the CrossTrail family. This is a very small, "hands on" type of church where almost everyone is involved in some capacity in mission work and helping the broader community. Pastor Chris's messages are often grounded with relatable anecdotes and remain topical to what's going on in the world while avoiding politics. If you're someone who believes in gentle love toward your neighbor (even when it's hard), acts of service, and a desire to grow while retaining humility, you will fit in pretty well. Connect Groups are also a great way to socialize and form friendships that will genuinely push you toward becoming a better person. I feel extremely blessed to have found this place and to be able to look back on the progress I've made in my mental, emotional, and spiritual health through the bonds I've formed over the years. Every Sunday is a highlight of my week that I look forward to.
